Edgar Louis Cole Jr., 73, passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born on April 24, 1950, in Terre Haute to Edgar L. Cole Sr. and Emma M. (Taylor) Cole. For many years, Edgar worked as a security guard. He enjoyed fishing, and he loved to laugh and tell jokes. His family was very important to him, and he was very protective of them.

He is survived by his son Kenneth Cole, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews: sister-in-law Vicki Cole, and friend Johnny Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley M. Cole, ex-wife Lydia Cole, sons Edgar L. Cole III and David L. Cole, brother Emmett Cole, and sisters Evelyn Cole and Carol Lynn Cole.
