Edmund Coveau, III,  of Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 at the age of 67.  He was born on June 11, 1956 in Reno, Nevada. He was the Son of Edmund Coveau Jr. (Buck Coveau) and LaVonne Coveau.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United states Army. Raised in Washoe Valley, NV. Mr. Ed or "Special Ed" was his nickname. He was a single father of two girls, Mar-ee Coveau and Kassie Lowell (Jeff Lowell).

Edmund had two younger siblings, brother Mark Coveau of Dayton, NV, and sister LaOnne Coveau of LockWood, NV. He had 6 grandkids: Nyla, Ella, Buck, Wyatt, Isabella, and Alisha. Edmund truly loved his grandchildren and they all loved Papa very much. He was a truck driver before he was a bus driver/dispatcher for the Washoe County school district for 17 years.  He was a fun and out going man who will be missed by many. You could always find him up in the hills of Washoe Valley, NV, or riding quads. He loved the outdoors and was always up for having fun or helping people. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Arrangements will be made in Reno, NV by Kassie Lowell at a later date for a celebration of life and a toast to Mr. Ed. Cremation was entruste to Samaritan Funeral Home.
