Elaine Smith was born on October 7, 1960 in Jonesboro, GA to James Harrison & Carolyn (Bankston) Harrison. She graduated from Terre Haute South High School in 1978. On June 25, 2000, she married Orangie Smith. Willingly Elaine accepted Christ as her Savior on September 29, 1996 at TH Gospel Chapel. She was a devoted wife, mother, & grandmother. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her friends, family, & especially her grandchildren.

On Sunday April 19th, 2020, Elaine peacefully transitioned to her Heavenly home to be with the Lord. She was proceeded in death by both parents, brother Billy James Harrison & sister, Paula Lynette Harrison.

She leaves to cherish the memories to her husband, three children, Titnamus, Daneesha, & Domini (Schlotter) Higginbotham, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson, three brothers, Charles, James Jr, & Errol. Along with a host of other family & friends.
