Erin Lockman, age 55 of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly January 28, 2024.

Erin was born April 3, 1968, in Omaha, NE to Mary Chaney and Rodney Ross, and spent many of her early years there before coming to Terre Haute. Surviving Erin are her mother Mary Chaney and stepfather Reece Chaney, a daughter Tyler Streacker and her husband Johnathon Streacker, and sons Rodney and Ross Lockman and Skyler DeBruhl. Also surviving Erin are two grandchildren, Kennedy and Damien Streacker. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Reid Ross.

Erin loved caring for her aquariums, admiring sunflowers and enjoying days in the sunshine on the beaches of Fripp Island, searching for sand dollars and seashells. Above all else, she found joy in her family, watching her children and grandchildren grow and loved spending time with them. She was so proud of them all.

There will be a small service for immediate family members only. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Bethany House in Terre Haute.
