Erna Finger of Blanford - recently of Clinton Gardens passed away in early September.  She was born in Germany, and her father had been imprisoned in Dachau for his resistance to the NAZI regime. While growing up she was in several foster homes during the war.  She later married Ernest Finger (divorced 1977) who was a decorated Viet Nam war veteran. Erna is survived by her son James "Ernie", granddaughter Emma, and great granddaughter Olivia. She last worked at the Vermillion County Prosecutor's Office as a Victim's Advocate.  A celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.  Follow the Samaritan Funeral Home website for future details.
