Announcement

With faith in God’s promises and gratitude for a life purposed and destined, we announce the passing of Etoria Nolan of Terre Haute, Indiana on July 1, 2026, at the age of 65.

Early Life

Etoria was born on August 15, 1960 in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Lena Virginia Tinsley Miss Honey Woodbridge and her Father, Thomas Nolan. She was preceded in death by her six brothers, between the ages of 30 days to 10 years old: Darryl Foster, Ronnie Foster, and Jerry Foster; Anthony Nolan, Melvin Lee Lee Nolan, and Thomas Clayton TC Nolan. Etoria was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, relative, and friend whose life touched many through her kindness, compassion, and lively strength.

Faith and Community

Her faith in the Lord was a guiding light in her life. She found comfort in God’s Word and trusted in His promises. Those who knew Etoria will remember her caring heart, her willingness to help others, and the love she shared with family and friends. She was baptized in the Name of Jesus and received the Gift of the Holy Spirit at Bethlehem Temple in the late 1980s, later attended New Life Fellowship.

She enjoyed reading the Word of God, listening to Gospel Music, and sharing a good laugh. Her life was a reminder of the importance of faith, hope, and love despite the circumstances and hardships she faced throughout her life.

Family

Etoria is survived by her sister, Debbie Nolan; her oldest brother, Eveart Foster (Lynn); her uncle, Joseph Drone; her sister, Cheryl, brother Thomas, sister Lynn, and brother Phillip; her youngest brother, Johnnie Baker; along with many nieces and nephews.

While her family grieves her passing, they also rejoice in the Christian hope found in Jesus Christ. As the Scripture reminds us; I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25).

Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who truly knew her, and her family finds comfort in the promise that one day, those who are in Christ will be reunited.

The funeral service celebrating Etoria’s life and faith will take place at New Life Fellowship, 7849 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47803, on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 10:00 in the morning.
