Ezekiel "Zeke" Daniel Brooke, 48, of Bloomington passed away on August 10, 2025. Zeke was born on June 17, 1977, in Emporia, Kansas, to Jamas Brooke and Deborah (Roedts) Brooke, and he considered himself a Jayhawk. He was known for his love of animals, nature and music. Zeke worked in landscaping and as a chef at Indiana University, and he was very artistic. As a toddler he enjoyed working with clay, and later with wood. Zeke was enthusiastic about fishing expeditions with his brothers and father.

Zeke leaves behind his daughter Loki; mother Deborah Brooke; father Jamas Brooke (Tamar); brothers Joshua and Ezra Brooke (Stacie), and nephews Ora and Wesley Brooke.
