Frances Jeanne Owens, 89 , of Farmersburg, IN peacefully passed away on Mar 14, 2022 at her home.  Jeanne was born October 15, 1932 in Robinson, IL to Charles and Veva Howerton.  Jean married Shelby Anglee "Andy" Owens on December 10, 1950, he preceded her in death on November 1, 2004.

Jeanne spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker.  Jeanne was best known for her quirky personality and love of her family.  Jeanne enjoyed singing, dancing, socializing and spending time with family. Jeanne also had a special love for her canine companions throughout her life.

Jeanne was preceded in death by three older brothers and four older sisters, she was the second youngest of nine children.

Jeanne is survived by her brother; Jack Howerton, her children; Linda (Keith) Patterson of Evansville, IN and Dan Owens of Farmersburg, IN, her Grandchildren; Andrea Aubrey, Kristopher Patterson, Lindsey (Andrew) Phillips, Kyra (Michael) Peoples, and Danielle (Chris) Fisher, as well as, 11 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Westlawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN on Friday,  March 25, 2022 at 1:00pm.
