Francis Leon Rooksberry, 64, of Jasonville passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence.  He was born September 25, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois to Floyd Rooksberry, Jr. and Joanna Thomas Rooksberry.  Francis loved to help others, he enjoyed shopping and was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse.  Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

Francis is survived by his daughters Christina Glenn (Shawn), Makayla Rooksberry, and Makenzi Rooksberry, grandchildren Luke Passen and Abygail Gayheart, sisters Anna Bennett (Tom), Patty Beard (Scott), and Cathie Woods (Dennis), as well as special friends Rob and Pam Flynn.  He is preceded in death by his parents, one infant son and infant son Mickey Rooksberry, brother David Rooksberry, and infant brother Thomas Michael Rooksberry.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Friendly Grove Baptist Church located at 10520 South County Road 550 West in Lewis, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with services beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Samaritan Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
