Frederick "Nate" Nathaniel Spencer, 62, passed away October 18, 2021.  He was born in Terre Haute, IN on May 18, 1959 to Edward Spencer and Edna Joyner Spencer.  He was preceded in death by both parents; daughter Natara Oard; brother Elbert Spencer.  Nate is survived by his wife Randy Spencer; children Jordan Spencer, Toby Taylor (Christel), and Abby Martin; siblings Rachael Hayden, Karen Spencer, Claude Spencer (Edna), Diane Spencer, Eartha Spencer, Lyndell Spencer (Gwen), Andrea Edwards (Charles), and Herschel Spencer; 7 grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-law Jerry Fogelman. Nate was a graduate of Terre Haute South High School.   Nate loved fishing and riding on his motorcycle.  He always enjoyed having a garden and had a green thumb.  Nate could fix anything especially lawn mowers.  Visitation for Nate will be held at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1000South 15th Street Terre Haute, IN, on Saturday, October 23 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with services starting at 12:00 PM Pastor Terry Clark will be officiating.  Masks are required for those who plan to attend visitation and service for Nate.
