In loving memory of Gail Ann Pride, born on January 14, 1942, and peacefully passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 81. Gail is survived by her children Christopher Pride (Tricia) and Karen Bollman (Dan), along with her cherished grandchildren Nicholas (Kenzie), Andrew (Shelby), Michael (Ashley), Bailey (Juan) and Connor (Becca); great-grandchildren Bailee Jo, Madison, Ember, Rhettlee, Asher, Ruby, Raelynn & Mason. She will be missed by her brother Gene Rasner (Lynn), special nieces Kris Ann (Rodney), Breanna and nephew Daniel, ex-husband & good friend Robert, and numerous Byrd family cousins. Gail was preceded in death by her best friend and husband John Brinkerhoff and her parents Ernest & Wanda Rasner.

Gail dedicated her career to banking. She retired from First National Bank in Cloverdale, where she held the position of Vice President in charge of data processing. Beyond her professional life, she had a passion for music, sharing her beautiful voice with the Sweet Adelines choir and churches all throughout her life. Additionally, she found joy in playing Mario Brothers video games with her grandchildren, often softening the blow of beating them by asking "want to go get some Taco Bell?".

Gail loved gardening, good margaritas, ice cream out of the container and laughter, lots & lots of laughter. But her greatest love was Jesus. Her favorite quote "God leads His dear children along" provided strength and solace during her battle with Alzheimer's dementia.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, served on the Putnam County Library Board for several years, completed the Putnam County Leadership program and was a proud resident of "beautiful Putnam County" for nearly 40 years.

The family will hold a graveside service at a later date in Wheatland, Indiana, where Gail spent her childhood. They kindly ask that extended family and friends remember her by enjoying some ice cream and taking a moment to cherish the simple but extraordinary life she lived.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents at Asbury Towers in Greencastle, IN, where Gail spent her final six months. The love and care she received meant the world to her and her family.
