George Arthur Prell, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born to Lawrence Prell and Georgia (Schoot) Prell on March 5, 1950 in Tomah, Wisconsin. George was a member of the National Guard and worked as a Foreman for Canadian Pacific Railroad.

George enjoyed playing games, especially dice and getting lottery tickets. His favorite pastime was playing golf, but he excelled at many sports and was very athletic. George was loved by all of his friends and will be missed by many.

George is preceded in death by both of his parents; loving wife, Carol (Brauer) Prell; son, Mark Szews; brother, Lamonte Prell; sister, Marilyn Tucker; and brother-in-law, Bill Heines.

George is survived by his son, Michael Prell; daughters, Lisa Good and Angela Ramsey (Kevin); brother, Ellis Prell (Vicky); sister, Jan Heines; brother-in-law, Bob Tucker; grandchildren, Lacy (Ethan), Isabell, Sara, and Jacob; great-granddaughter, Winnie; and best friend, Ray Hoover.
