Geraldine L. Weger, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday December 19, 2018 at 3:20 pm in Springhill Village. She was born August 27, 1935 in Vigo County to Virgil Smith and Elivenetta (Nulta) Smith Stapleton. Geraldine is survived her granddaughter, Stacy Switzer (Scott) and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Kyle, and Laura. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton Weger; daughters, Cheryl Bryant and Debbie Bryant and great-granddaughter, Lori Burgess. She was a life member of the VFW Post #972 Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the American Legion Post #104 Ladies Auxiliary, and member and past-president of the 40&8 Caban 21. Geraldine was an avid animal lover and love spending time with her pug Sammy. Visitation will be Thursday December 27, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with a memorial service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Albert Riggle officiating.
