Gregory Allen Morris 68 of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on August 4, 1953, to Romona (Lennox) Morris and Eugene Morris.

He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Morris of what would have been their 48-year anniversary in March.

Other survivors include his son, Allen Morris (Bernice); daughter, Courtney Leader (Michael); grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Adrianna Morris, Zavier Morris, and Jacob Leader; brother, Mike "Danny" Morris; sisters Gloria Morris and Jean Ann Surrena and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Robert "Bob" Morris.

Greg loved to make people smile with his crazy stories. He also loved his grandchildren and loved to make them laugh with his silliness.

If you knew Greg, you know he was almost like superman. After his heart surgery in 1999, he was only given 2 years to live, but went on to live another 23 years. He seemed invincible. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's ended up being his kryptonite.

He was a member and Past Master of Terre Haute Masonic Lodge #19 F&AM and a member of Grace Temple Church.

Visitation will be Sunday February 27, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with a Masonic Memorial services at 3:00 pm followed by funeral services with Bishop Murray Galloway officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.samaritanfunerals.com
