Gregory Bryant Sappenfield, 58, passed away on March 23, 2024. He was born on August 16, 1965 in Clinton, IN to George and Mary Sappenfield. He just bought his first house, and everyone was so proud of him, including his neighbors. He also just got a puppy that he has always wanted. He deeply loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his siblings Dee Farrington, Jeane Brown (Gary), Andy Sappenfield, Duane Sappenfield, Sarah Witlock (Benny), Elaine Pastore, and Doug Sappenfield; sister-in-law Belinda Green, nieces Shana Green, Shelly Green, and Melissa Wimmer; nephew Triston Green II, great niece Maddie, great-great-niece Mersadies, and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by both parents, sister Susan (Sappenfield) Hinojos, a mother figure Marie Dawson, and brothers-in-law Mono Pastore and Ward Farrington.

A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Gregory's home and please bring your own lawn chair and covered dish. Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Online condolences can be left at samaritanfunerals.com.
