Ian Patrick
Yantis-Foxworthy
b. Aug 24, 1990
Terre Haute, IN
Ian Patrick Yantis-Foxworthy, 36, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on October 15, 2026. He was born to Lisa Yantis on August 24, 1990. Ian was very good with working with his hands and making things. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply, countless memories, and a space in this world that can never truly be filled.
Ian was truly one of a kind. He had a wild spirit, a generous heart, a quick wit, and a personality that was impossible to forget. He lived life on his own terms, never afraid to challenge the rules or believe that he could accomplish anything he set his mind to. He was adventurous, spirited, stubborn at times, and unapologetically himself.
Growing up, Ian was the kind of kid who could always find an adventure. Whether riding bikes to a dirt pit affectionately known as a “Figure 8”, climbing trees and buildings he probably shouldn’t have, or finding ways to enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood, Ian made memories that would last a lifetime. He was a true 90’s kid, full undeniable zest for life.
One of Ian’s most unforgettable qualities was his ability to tell a story. With animated expressions, exaggerated details, perfectly timed sound effects, and confidence that could convince almost anyone, he had a gift for drawing people in. Just when you were completely invested in his tale, he might flash a grin and say, “Nah, I’m just pulling your leg, dawg”. His humor, storytelling, and larger-than-life personality brought laughter to those fortunate enough to know him.
Beneath his untamed spirit was a heart filled with kindness and generosity. Ian was the kind of person who would give someone his last dollar or the shirt off his back.
Ian is survived by his mother; adoptive mother, Pam Allen; significant other, Dana; and siblings, Cody, Adrian, Elijah, and Colleen.
Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
