Jack R. Stute, Jr., 88, of Terre Haute passed away December 5, 2019 at his residence.  He was born May 2, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana to Jack R. Stute and Mary Lee Stute.  Jack served his country in the Korean War as an MP in the US Army.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards and visiting friends.  Jack was also very proud to have played basketball while attending Glen High School.

He is survived by his wife Mary Stute and son Randy Stute.  Jack is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Martha Jane Stute and daughter Beth Julbert.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at Highland Lawn Cemetery at 2:00 p.m Friday December 27, 2019.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in honor of Jack.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com
