Jackie Ray Walker, Sr. (July 29, 1953 – August 6, 2026), born in Terre Haute to Beatrice Lucille and Kale Walker, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, grandson Harley Hughey, and great-grandsons Drake and Nicholas Wilson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Tawanna (Kathy) Walker; children, Jackie Jr. (Tammy), Amy Barnhart (Justin), Neal (Christy), and James Hughey; and grandchildren, Drake Wilson, Kale & William Booth, Maddy Cleeton, Marlee McCoy, and Nicholas, Heather, Junior, Timmy, Ellie May, and Savanah Hughey; and great-grandsons, Jax Wilson and Brenner McCoy.
