James Francis Alexander, 75, passed away July 31, 2022.  He was born on July 8, 1947 to Frank H. Alexander and Slyvia G. Alexander.  James was preceded in death by both parents as well as his sister Nancy Livengood.  He is survived by his wife Emily Rose Lisowski Alexander; children Larry Wright (Ginger), Julie Alexander, Kelly Ewing (Greg), Anne Roach (Anthony), Pamela Buchanan; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and cousins.  James served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.  He worked as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor.  During James's younger years he was an avid go-kart racer.  He later found a love for restoring old cars to their original condition.  He once won the Bloomington Gold Award for his Corvette.  James eventually got into sail boating and power boating.  He and his wife lived on their boat for two years while traveling all over.  Both James and his wife loved to boat and go on cruises.  Per James's wishes cremation has been chosen and Samaritan Funeral Home will assist in the arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at a later date for James.
