James William "Bill" Beatty, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Southwood Nursing Home.  He was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania on May 11, 1949 to Albert and June Beatty.

Bill is survived by his wife, Martha Beatty, son James Beatty, Jr., daughter Penny Beatty, granddaughter of Christina Beatty, brothers Dale Beatty and Allan Leroy, sisters Delores Henry (Donald), Sarah Sue Carliss, Ruth Ann Dooley, and Laura Eillen Beatty.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Gerald Albert Beatty.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Samaritan Funeral Home.  Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Larry Branham will officiate.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
