James Blitz (76) of Terre Haute, IN passed away July 23, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. Born March 25, 1943 in Highland Park, MI to James G. Blitz and Beatrice Blitz-Seim.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert (Bob)Blitz, and also Great Granddaughter Vivian Ann Blitz.

Survived by his wife Vicki (Tippy)Blitz, son James D Blitz (Saxde), daughters; Michelle Blitz, Lisa Yob, and Terri Rodriquez, grandchildren: Paul(PJ), Michael(Haley), Megan(Justin) Meadors, Kenny, James W, Rachael, Sarah, and Madalynn.; Great-grandchildren Connor, Abel, Oakley, Chase, Zoey, Hunter, Scarlett, and Owenn. Brothers David (Mickey) Blitz, Michael (Marsha)Blitz, sisters Carol Holdren, Mary (Victor)Breschini, Sande(James). Sister-in-law Carolyn Blitz, step-brothers Ken (Nancy)Seim and Jim (Kitty)Seim. He loved his family deeply and will be missed by many.

Jim served in the army and worked at Linde Air(Praxair). After retirement, he spent much time in his woodshop making wood projects and helping kids with their cars.

Jim chose to have cremation with no service. There will be a celebration of Life at a later date per his request.

He was my diamond in the rough/teddy bear heart. Now he is a bright shining star without pain and suffering watching over his family and friends.
