James C. Brady, Sr., 70, of Brazil passed away Wednesday March 1, 2017 at 9:05 pm in his residence surround by his family. James had worked for MAB Paints for 29 years and prior to that he work for the Indiana Highway Department. He was born May 24, 1946 in Terre Haute to Carrol Brady and Dorothy (Hollingsworth) Brady. James Is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie (Sampson) Brady; daughters, Rebecca Barker (Jon) of Terre Haute, Valerie Brady of Brazil, and Lashawnda Thomas of Terre Haute; a son, James Brady, Jr. of Terre Haute; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Brady. James enjoyed hunting and bowling. Visitation will be Saturday march 4, 2017 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Rod Maris officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. If friends so desire, the family suggests that friends may make contributions to Hospice of the Wabash Valley.
