James was born in Terre Haute to James Leonard Brock Sr. and Audburn M. (Lawson) Brock. James is survived by his Son James Joseph Brock; two step-daughters Melody Hickman and Tina Miller (Chris); sister Anna Donnelly (Donald);12 grandkids, 5 great grandkids, as well as several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents; sister Fannie Leona Brock and wife Cindy Brock. Visitation for James will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Saturday, October 16 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made to the America Kidney Foundation.
