James David Burns, 60, of Indianapolis and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Thursday March 25, 2021 in Community Hospital North. He was born August 12, 1960 in Terre Haute to James J. and Madonna (Woodruff) Burns. He is survived by his sisters, Jean A. Hosier of Danville, Indiana, Gloria M. Simpson (Nathan) of Bend, Oregon, Mary L. Love (James) of Cloverdale, Indian, and Victoria S. Vest (Geoffrey) of Terre Haute; brothers, Mark A. burns (Debra) of Cary North Carolina, Steven E. Burns of Botkins, Ohio, Michael P. Burns of Merrillville, Indiana, and Paul W. Burns of Botkins, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
