James Wayne Fagg, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday April 24, 2019 at 9:35 pm in Meadows Manor North. He was born May 17, 1945 in Dresser, IN to Clarence Lee Fagg and Dorothy Mary (Lamb) Fagg. James is survived by his wife, Peggy (Smith) Fagg; a daughter, Lisa Buchannan (Tim) of Dennison, IL; sons, Roy Lee Fagg and Paul Fagg both of Terre Haute and Terry Matlock; sisters, Cathy Smith (Gary) and Cheryl Smith; brothers, Ken Fagg (Della), Paul Fagg, and Daniel Fagg (Donna); sister-in-law, Judy Black (Chuck); brothers-in-law, Bob Smith (Carol), Don Smith (Sheryl), and Rocky Smith (Toni); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Judy Shipley; sons, Mike Fagg and James Fagg; brothers, Bob Fagg, Ron Fagg, and Steve Fagg; a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. James was a member and Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post #346. Visitation will be Monday April 29, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.
