James "Jim" B. Bucklin passed peacefully onto Heaven Monday, September 30, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 10, 1936, in Brazil, IN to James and Mildred Bucklin.
Jim was a private pilot who owned his own plane and flew to Frankfort, IN to work at P.R. Mallory before retiring to take care of Patty during her illness. James invented a resistor for which he was awarded a U.S patent.
James was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Martin Bucklin, his second wife, Sarah Bucklin, and his son James (Jamie) Bucklin.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Bucklin (Sonya), daughter-in-law Rebecca Bucklin, grandchildren; Jeff II, McKenzie, and Victoria, and four great-grandchildren.
As he wished, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread throughout his beloved family property that has been in the Bucklin family farm "Penny Royal" for over 100 years.
