James Edward Miller passed away peacefully at Springhill Nursing home in Terre Haute, Indiana on May 10th 2022. He was born on September 3rd 1938 in Tower Hill, llinois to the late Fred Miller and Mary Emma Ethridge. He married Sharon Sue Bell from Roachdale, Indiana on September 7th 1963 . James was a Navy veteran who served from 1955 to 1961. He also ran a successful mechanic shop called Miller's Garage for many years with his wife and sons in Roachdale, Indiana. James was a proud dad and grandpa. He loved to fish,hunt and play bingo. He is survived by his siblings Larry Severe, Pat Harlan, Alice Seitz, Shirley Severe and Mary Jo Reed. His children David Miller, Jamie (Dennis) Grimes, Brian (Mary) Miller and Jennifer Sexton. James was also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings Bill Miller, Don Severe,and Junior Severe.

A Graveside service will be held May 27th at 1:30 pm at Roachdale Cemetery.
