James E. Ritchey, 68, of Paris, Illinois passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 in his residence. He was born February 12, 1953 in Vandalia, Illinois to Isaac E. and Marilyn J. (McNary) Ritchey. James is survived by his daughter, Leigh Anne Arriaga; son, Charles Ritchey; brother, Charles Ritchey; sisters, Callie Young, Viola Blankenship, Starla Spenner, and Sue Ellen Austin; half-brothers, Darrell Kubina and Joe Ritchey; half-sisters, Heidi Ritchey, Rachel Hipsher, Pansy Parish, and Julie Irvin; grandchildren, Ralph, Jonathan, Ruby, and Logan. He was preceded in death by his half-brothers, Isaac Ritchey, Jr., Brian "Scott" Ritchey, and Jesse Ritchey; half-sister, Lisa Rahrscheib. There will be a Celebration of Life held at 10 am on July 31st at God's House of Glory 908 N 895 St, Shovoneir, IL 62885 . Samaritan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
