James Skirvin, 78, passed away at home on February 27, 2023.  He was born in Beech Grove, IN on March 23, 1944 to Charles S. Skirvin Sr. and Myrtle V. McCarthy Skirvin.  James was preceded in death by both parents; son John Harrison; siblings Joanne Myers and Charles Skirvin Jr. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Thelma Dodson Skirvin; children Mick Skirvin, Rick Skirvin, Rita Boyles, Shelley Potavin, Brittany Pugh, and Ashley Spray; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  James loved spending time with his family and attending church.  Services for James will be held at a later date.
