James Allen Slaughter, 68, passed away on June 7, 2025. He was born April 30, 1956 in Kokomo, IN to James and Bonnie Slaughter. He enjoyed camping and fishing, and he collected model boats and ships. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and going on walks and car rides with his dog, Toby.

He is survived by his son Corey Slaughter (Lisa) and grandchildren, Bentley and Remington of Spencer, IN, brother George Slaughter of Frankfort, IN, sister Patricia Thorpe of Galveston, IN, stepsister Diana Reed of Russiaville, IN and his beloved dog, Toby.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, stepmother Ramona, and brother Steve Slaughter.
