James Smith, 60, of Terre Haute passed away on May 6, 2019.  He was born June 27, 1958 in Terre Haute to Howard N. Smith and Erma E. Smith (McClure).  James loved to go camping and was motorcyclist and Harley Davidson enthusiast.  He also loved to do yardwork and spend time with his family.

James is survived by his wife Ruby Ann Smith, daughter Lori Smith, son Christopher Smith, grandchildren Shelby Smith, Brooklyn Ringeo, Lacey Ringeo, Tony Ringeo and Christopher Smith, great grandchildren Kadence Ringeo, Xaden Smith, Zoey Smith, Miley Pitts, Zaina Holdridge, Sherry Ringeo, Serenity Ringeo, and Christian Smith;  brothers Anthony Smith, John Smith (Lisa), and Donald Smith; sisters Barbara Wiech and Rita Bunch.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Erma Rae Miller, and brothers Howard Smith, Jr., and Billy Smith.
