James Jay "Wolfee" Staley, II, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, with his family at his side, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.  He was born in Terre Haute on December 26, 1969, to James and Suzanne Staley.

Jim was a 34-year member of the International Union of Laborer's Local 204.  He was a long time employee for E&B Paving Company 40 of Rochester, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, James "Jay" Staley and his brother David Aaron Staley. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Charlotte (Gill) Staley, son James Aaron Staley, mother Suzanne Staley, sister in law Della Gill, brothers in law Charles Gill (Tracy) and Jeff Gill (autumn).  He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as special cousin Mike Franklin his motorcycle buddy, special aunt Bratt Bratt, special friend and BOSS Mike Raplee, and fur babies Chloe and Winnie.

He loved motorcycles, jet skis, camping, traveling, playing Euchre, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Per his request no services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to IU Simon Cancer Center, 1030 West Michigan Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.
