James Alan Wilson, 56, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.  He was born in Sullivan on November 2, 1965 to Chester and Carolyn Wilson.  James was a student of Terre Haute South, Class of 1983.  He enjoyed fishing and baseball.  He was a member of the Howesville Church of God of Prophecy.  Most of all James loved to spend time with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons Cody Wilson and Jason Dickens, daughter Brittany Wilson, grandchildren Lily Parsley and Coty Wilson, sister Carla Wilson, brothers Ronnie Wilson (Angela), Steve Ferree, and Joseph E. Wilson (Jamie), niece Ashley Urbain (Jeremy), nephew Joseph Wilson, great-nieces and great nephews Malakai Urbain, Ayden Urbain, Trevin Urbain, Ryker Urbain, Brynlee Urbain, and Braylee Wilson; and lifelong friends Johnny Joe Cummins, Jerry Reedy, and Jessie Reedy.  James was preceded in death by his parents, brother David Wilson, and nephew Kevin Wilson.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
