Jane Frances Thompson, 97, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 3, 2019 at 5:42 am in Southwood Health and Rehab. She was head of housekeeping at St. Mary-of-the-Woods. She was born January 12, 1922 in Clinton to Richard Ray and Helen (Harden) Ray. Jane is survived by a daughter, Patty Riecks; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Thompson who died January 31, 1996; a daughter, Cindy Weddle and her brothers, Michael Ray and Robert Ray. She was a member of St. Joseph University Parish. Visitation will be Thursday February 7, 2019 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Friar Cyprian Uline officiating.
