Obituary

Janet S. Dugger, 54, of Terre Haute passed on November 10, 2019. She was born in Valparaiso, IN March 13, 1965 to Clyde and Betty (Coleman) Dugger the youngest of seven children.


She is survived by her three sons Brian (Jennifer) Knight of Schertz, TX, Ryan Knight of Paris, IL, Cody Knight of Terre Haute, IN and six grandchildren Jayden, Joshua, Jackson, Wyatt, Katie, and Connor. She is also survived by her half-brothers Alvin of Elwood, IN and David Swinefurth of Terre Haute, Brother Mike (Sharon) Dugger of Grand Forks, ND, Debra Rhodes of Sullivan, IN, Patty Dugger, also of Sullivan, IN, and many nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary (Dugger) Johnson.


The majority of her life she spent as a homemaker raising her three boys, and continued to help raise her grandchildren for periods of time. She was a loving and compassionate person who put others before herself as evidence by her only work outside of the home was work in home care for others to help them stay in there home, and dearly loved spending time with her boys and grandchildren. She developed a closer walk with Christ during her time in Texas.


Services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home 2425 Wabash Avenue Terre Haute, IN November 16, 2019 starting at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial at 3:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
