Janice Marie Williams, 87, of Houghton Lake, Michigan and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Thursday May 5, 2022. She was born August 24, 1934 in Terre Haute to Ralph A. and Grace Lucille (Kramer) Petry. Janice is survived by her sons, Rick Humphrey (Cathy) and Rod Humphrey (Cassie); daughter-in-law, Shirley Humphrey and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Humphrey and sister, Marjorie Cox. Janice was a 1952 graduate of Garfield High School and attended Indiana State University getting a degree in Institutional Cooking and she was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, singing, tap dancing, and organizing parties at the Crooked Hook Resort in Clewiston Florida. Graveside services will be Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 1:30 pm in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Larry Branham officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
