Obituary

Jason Dean Harmon, 64, of Brazil, IN passed away July 2, 2022 at Union Hospital after a short stay.  He was born in Vigo County on March 20, 1958 to Jack Harmon and Shirley "Jo" Ryan.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Jason is survived by his wife Terri Harmon of Brazil, IN; children Amy Jo Padgett (Ron) of Brazil, Ian Harmon (Stephanie) of Terre Haute, Eric Harmon (Jami) of Charleston, IL, Crystal Lane of Terre Haute; step-father Leon Ryan; brothers Jack Harmon (Kimberly) of Brazil and Leon Ryan of Warner Robins, GA; sisters Nicole Proplesch (Rob) of Alpharetta, GA and Michele Bridges (Robert) of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren Amanda Sweeney of Casey, IL, Tori Chaney of Port Angeles, WA, Ashten Hinkle of Rockville, IN, Brittany King of Evansville, IN, Alexis Hinkle of Rosedale, Brandon Harmon of Terre Haute, Shelby Harmon of Terre Haute, and Shawn Lane of Terre Haute; 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well.  Jason was a graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo School.  During the course of his career Jason was on the tree crew and paint crew of the Terre Haute Street Department.  He worked as a logging and spray crew Foreman for Georgia Power.  In his later career Jason was a truck driver and warehouse manager for a major agriculture service.  Jason liked to go fishing and camping, more than anything he loved spending time with family.  Jason was a believer in the Salvation and he believed in the hope of the resurrection.  We as his family are looking forward to seeing Jason again in his new body.  There will be a celebration of Life Service on Saturday, July 23 at 3:00 PM at Faith Outreach Church, 3001 Wallace Ave, Terre Haute, IN.
