Jean C. Moody, 70, passed away April 25, 2022.  She was born on December 3, 1951, to Claude Tisdale and Mary Jones Tisdale.                                                                                                Jean was preceded in death by both parents, siblings June and Billie as well as her great granddaughter Maelynne Moody.

She is survived by her husband Mickey Moody; son Scott Moody (Robin); daughter Jennifer Moody; siblings Claude "Brother", Doug (Roxanne), Marty (Carolyn), Kathy (Bob), Liz (Vern), Charlie, and Marilyn (Bob); In-laws Fred, Gilda, John, Lonnie, and Selestia; grandchildren Kevin Moody, Ben Mauel, Tyler Russell, Shawn Welch, Aaron Moody, Cameron Moody, Damian Newell, Austin Moody, Alex Moody, Katelyn Moody, and Robert Newell; great grandchildren Dylan Welch, Brayah Welch, Lliam Welch, Kory Welch, Colton Moody, Clayton Moody, Caston Moody, Haisley Moody, Oakliegh Moody, Judson Moody, Hazel Newell, and Franklin Newell; several nieces and nephews.

Jean loved shopping, gardening, sewing, arts and crafts, and fishing with her grandkids.  She was a beautiful artist.  She loved her dogs and spending time with her family.                            Visitation for Jean will be held at Samaritan funeral Home on Sunday, May 1 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM with services starting at 4 PM.
