Jerry Fred Ballard, 70 of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. He was born July 28, 1948 in Paris, Illinois to Fred and Ethel Ballard. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene, his mother and father and two sisters. He is survived also by two sisters and one brother. Linna Cotton of Terre Haute, Linda Good of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and Jack Ballard of Paris, Illinois. He also leaves behind two step children and three step granddaughters all of California, several nieces an nephews and their two dogs,  Prissy and Ginger. Jerry was a long-haul truck driver for over 40 years until he retired. He would often travel together with his wife and their puppies. Jerry and his wife has been to every state in the United States except for Delaware. Jerry liked playing the guitar and singing.  He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Terre Haute where he worked on the PA system or did anything he was asked to do. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 16th at noon at The Gospel Assembly Church at 401 West Spring Hill Road Terre Haute, IN.  Any contributions can be made to the church.
