Jerry Dishon, 60, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday May 14, 2016 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He had worked at Commercial Solvents and Supreme Heating and Cooling. Jerry was born September 15, 1955 in Terre Haute to Charles Dishon and Doris (Wyman) Dishon. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tonya (Piety) Dishon; daughters, Julie Dishon of Indianapolis and Jill Dishon-Childs (Adam) of Terre Haute; grandson, Bradyn Bennett; brothers, Charles Dishon, Jr (Rose Anne), Robert Dishon, and Lloyd Dishon and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Marilyn Benefiel and Jeanine Dishon. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandson who was his Buddy. Visitation will be Tuesday May 17, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave with funeral services at 6:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Richard Triestan officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to help offset expenses.
