Jerry K. Long, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 12, 2026 in Springhill Village Healthcare Center. He was born April 21, 1948 in Terre Haute to Leroy and Ruby (Diel) Switzer. Jerry is survived by his son, Rob Long; brother, Jeff Long; caregiver, Shayna Switzer and grandchildren, Janaiya Switzer and Jayvenn Switzer. Hew was preceded in death by his wife, Veni Long and son, Adam Long. Jerry had worked at General Housewares, the Vigo County School Corporation, and Securitas. He was also a member of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church and a long-time member of the Riley Lions Club. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
