Jerry K. Long, 78, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 12, 2026 in Springhill Village Healthcare Center. He was born April 21, 1948 in Terre Haute to Leroy and Ruby (Diel) Long. Jerry is survived by his son, Rob Long; brother, Jeff Long; caregiver, Shayna Switzer and grandchildren, Janaiya Switzer and Jayvenn Switzer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Long and son, Adam Long. Jerry had worked at General Housewares, the Vigo County School Corporation, and Securitas. He was also a member of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church and a long-time member of the Riley Lions Club and a 1967 graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with service beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.samaritanfunerals.com
