Jerry "Pap" L. Rogers, 69, passed away on January 13, 2021.  He was born on March 13, 1951 to Gerald "Jerry" Rogers and Francis JoAnn Deck-Rogers in Indianapolis.  Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and his 3 brothers, Dan, Bill, and Jim. He is survived by his son Justin Rogers; daughters Stephanie Kilgore, Jerilyn Roger, and Victoria Young; sisters Susan Hebert and Jamie Getz; grandchildren Shania, Skyler, Stormie, Izabella, and Caleb Joshua Young II, many great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  Jerry was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church is Gosport, Indiana. He belonged to the Fire Department of Wayne Township. Jerry was also a member of the Woodworking Association.  He loved doing wood work and more than anything spending time with his family.  A visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM.
