Jerry J. Taylor, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 28, 2024 in his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry retired after 35 years from Duke Energy. He was born February 28, 1933 in Indianapolis to Ernest Taylor and Elizabeth (Duckworth) Underwood. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyne (Davis) Taylor; son, Don Taylor (Holly); half-sister, Terry Goodrich; half-brother, Steve Taylor; grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor and Laura Burnett; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jim Taylor; sister, Barbara O'Brien and half-brother, Ron Taylor. He was a veteran of the US Army and Jerry's greatest joy was spending time with his family. Graveside services will be Tuesday September 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park with Reverend Thomas McEwen officiating, burial will follow.
