Jerry Lee Tharp 80, Sullivan, IN passed away peacefully at his residence Dec. 20, 2020.  He was born in Hutton, IN to Ezra Everett Tharp and Charlotte Fredericks Hoopengarner. He was a 1958 graduate of Prarie Creek High School.  He married Lois R Jackson in 1961.  Jerry was a member of the Farmersburg Masonic Lodge and the Valley of Terre Haute Scottish Rite.  He retired from Pittman Moore in 1993 after years of service.  They moved to Naples, FL in 1993 and he retired from the Collier County Government in 2016 as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist. Jerry enjoyed various activities from hill climbing and drag racing in his younger years to fishing, hunting, gardening and golf.  His favorite activity was cheering on his Grandson racing for USAC.  Jerry attended Crossroads Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Laura Lynn Stockon.
He is survived by his wife, daughter Angela (Jim) Bush, Son-in-law Sam Stockon, grandchildren Lacy (Cody) Gentry, Chase ( Breanne) Stockon, Haley Bush and 5 great-grandchildren.  Also special friend Wilfred Sue.
