Jerry C. Thompson, 76, passed away July 19, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 29, 1946 in Salinas, California to Johnny Thompson and Wanda (Hayes) Clark. Jerry was a retired pipefitter and welder. He was a retired pastor and truly had a heart for ministry. He also enjoyed painting and sightseeing.

He is survived by his daughter Marla Gadberry, sons, Curtis Thompson (Paula) of Georgia and Anthony Thompson; sisters, Lynda Western of Phoenix, Arizona and Rhonda Apostolec of Nevada; brother Rob Clark of Glendale, Arizona; grandchildren, Joshua Thompson of Georgia, Austin Thompson of Georgia, Sydney Nichols (Ryan) of Georgia, Dalton Thompson of Colorado, Taylor Thompson of Arizona, Noah Thompson of Colorado, Gunner Thompson of Indiana, Jerricha Meeks of Indiana, Jordan Ashba of Indiana, Jarred Ashba of Indiana, Kyle Thompson (Erica) of Texas, Ryan (Bailey) Thompson of Indiana, and Cora Thompson of Indiana, and 6 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Christopher "Mark" Thompson of Terre Haute, and brother Mike Clark of Arizona.

A memorial service will be held at Abundant Grace House of Prayer on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 11 am. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Center Ridge Cemetery.
