Jesse Micheal Atterbury, 34, of Greenwood passed away on Thursday October 29th, 2026. He was born October 17th, 1992 in San Antonio, Texas to James Atterbury and Melissa (Kennedy) Atterbury.

Jesse was always a kid at heart and enjoyed many physical activities. His favorite activities included swimming, walking, and jumping on a trampoline. Food and exploring were passions of his. He had a spirit full of life and fun.

He is survived by his father, mother, brother Wyatt James Atterbury (Jasper McCracken), paternal grandparents Vernon Peterson, Jr. and Theresa Peterson, and maternal grandmother Dora Kennedy. Jesse was preceded in death by his sister Rachel Sigler and his maternal grandfather Barry Kennedy.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.
