Jo Ann Metcalf, 88, of Terre Haute, IN went home after a long battle with Alzheimer's on August 11, 2022.

On April 24, 1954 she married Richard E. Metcalf and they were married for 33 years.

Jo Ann worked as an LPN for many years before retiring. She was also an employee at Wal-Mart South until she retired for a second time.

She enjoyed latch hook, Colt's football, anything Elvis Presley, and being surrounded with family pictures.

Jo Ann lived her final years at Springhill Nursing Home where she had the nickname of JoJo and coffee queen. We want to thank all of the nurses and staff for their love, care, and support. She truly loved each and every one of them.

She is proceeded in death by husband Richard,  son Michael, and grandson John.

She is survived by her children; Carol (Kenny), Ruth (Steve), and Kevin (Penny); grandchildren; Amanda, William, Jennifer, Patricia, Ryan, Shea, and Jamie; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Dayshaun, Davion, Michael, Noah, Amellia, Gavin, and Averie; and two nephews; Edward and Charles.

Visitation will be held Monday, august 15, 2022 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  Service will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com
