JoAnn Lee Rothgerber Travioli, 72, of Marshall, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 7:40 p.m. EST at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
JoAnn was born on December 14, 1950 in Oaktown, Indiana to Eugene and Josephine Rothgerber. She married John Travioli on November 8, 1960 in Lizton, Indiana.
She worked for Dr. Macke and Dr. Turner at Cork Medical Center in Marshall for several years and then went on to work at Paris Medical Center before retiring.
She loved to quilt and share her passion for it.  She has made many quilts and given to family and friends.  There was never 2 quilts the same. She enjoyed time spent with the grandkids growing up and traveling the states, to making memories showing the great grandkids how to sew to baking or making noodles.
JoAnn is survived by her loving husband John; three children, Mike (Marcia) Travioli, Ann (David) Shepherd and Jared (Sunshine) Travioli; ten grandchildren, Rebecca (Brandon) Clark, Jonathan Travioli, Josh, Ethan and Tanitha Shepherd, Dominic, Shaylyn, Riley, Caitlyn and Ashley Travioli; four great-grandchildren, Lucas, Dylan, Haisley and Trinity Clark; two brothers, Eugene (Jody) Rothgerber and Donnie (Ruth) Rothgerber; a sister, Janet (Terry) Shepherd; and sisters-in-law, Janice and Gloria Travioli.
Per JoAnn's wishes, there will be no services, but a Celebration of Life will be held 4-7 p.m. this Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Marshall Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Clark County Shrine Pageant c/o John Travioli, 15063 N. Weaver Road,  Marshall Illinois, 62441.
