Jo Anne Reece Seybold, of Terre Haute, passed away on Jan. 9, 2018, at the age of 63.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah Seybold, son-in-law Dustin Richardson, and granddaughter Clara, of Portland, Oregon, her daughter Emily Ross, son-in-law Jeremy Ross, and grandsons Darius, Lavell, and Jaiden, of Terre Haute, and niece Tracy Durkin and nephews Marty and Shayle Durkin of New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Kyle, father Bernie Reece, stepfather Ray Kyle, sister Patricia Schechtman, and nephew Kyle Durkin.
Jo Anne had a 30-year career at Indiana State University, first as Administrative Assistant in the Air Force ROTC and then as Student Services Assistant in the College of Technology.
Jo Anne enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
Jo Anne valued learning and cherished her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in her memory be made to "Nana's Education Fund for Her Buddies." A memorial for Jo Anne will be held at Central Christian Church, 4950 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47803, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018.
