John Boyd, 64, of Clinton passed away in his home on November 13, 2019 at 1:15 PM.  He was born on April 17, 1955. John was adopted and raised by Terrance and Clara Boyd.  He is preceded in death by his adoptive parents, as well as his father-in-law Clifford Sronce Sr. John is survived by his wife Rhonda Sue Boyd; Children Bradley Boyd (Colleen) and Shawna Graham (Jeff); Siblings Francis Swiger; Roy Lakin and his wife Debbie, Harry Boyd and his wife Kandi, Paul Lakin and his wife Freda; Grandchildren Wesley Firestone (Marisa), Jimmy Griffin, Samantha Bailey, and Kevin Bailey; mother-in-law Marjorie Sronce; Great-grandchildren Dylan Bailey, Leighann Hornbrook, Owen Bailey, and Dylan Trueblood, as well as many nieces and nephews.  John was a pipefitter. He enjoyed splitting wood and fishing.  He especially enjoyed playing his 12 string guitar.  Cremation has been chosen per John's wishes. Online condolences may be left at Samaritanfunerals.com
